Hi! I'm a mother to premature twin boys, one surviving and one waiting in Heaven. Almost 14 years ago I was blessed beyond belief when I gave birth to the most beautiful babies I'd ever seen. While I only was able to keep one with me on earth, I still consider myself extremely lucky. I have always loved children, and volunteer at our church as well as babysit at home. I was diagnosed with cancer at age 30 and had to have a double mastectomy and hysterectomy and it was with the realization that I wouldn't be able to have any more children of my own that I truly realized how much I love being able to love other children as if they were my own, even though I am handing them back to their parents when they come home. I take comfort in the fact that I can make Read more someone else's night or day peaceful in knowing that I will love their children just as I would expect someone to love mine if I were leaving him in their care. I am available almost all the time, but I do babysit 2 children in my home and the days vary. I can rearrange our school schedule if something comes up, and I am able to work some days, although there is no place to say that when you are filling in the availability.
