I started by just spending time with my friends and taking Read more care of those with needs by way of volunteering and because I wanted too. Soon after I realized I could make a job of it so I started working at Dream Oaks Camp, a camp that brings in all disabilities. I was head counselor of kids with every disability. mainly ages 7 to 18. I also received my associates degree at SCF and was working and volunteering. I have personal experience with ages 18 to 35 as well. I love leaning about the people I work with and helping make their lives better as well as improve their social and cognitive skills. I am very open to learning all abilities and love challenges. Above all I want to be what the person with a disabilities needs and see them grow.
