My niece was born when I was 15. My sister would pay me during the summer months to care for my niece while they had to work. I think that happened for 2 summers. Shortly after I graduated high school I got an amazing job as a YMCA summer daycamp counselor for two summers right out of high school as well as involved in the YMCA's after school care program for 2 years. Later after moving to Louisiana due to family circumstances I worked at a gym/water park site. Their many moving parts within the main campus were where I covered my shifts. I helped out and covered whatever needed to be covered. I was put wherever I was needed. Some were in the Kidzone room, or with summer camps, or a water park attendant. So I started working that position regularly July of 2011 caring for newborns up to 5 years old during church service or church sponsored meetings and activities. Until that job ended on June 2013 due to relocation to North Houston. I had a job offer that brought me out that way. Moving on many years ahead now I have my own child that will be 12 soon, my disabled dad helps me out with him & I help my dad out in any way he needs. I enjoy learning new things and sharing what I've learned through teaching. I’m reliable and dedicated to safety!! I was previously licensed as knowing CPR & first aid, but have not maintained up to date licensing.
