I am a mature and dependable, non-smoking, mother of two with a pretty flexible schedule. My daughters are 16 and 18 years old. I have lived in this area most of my life. I have always love being around children. In high school, I volunteeredin the pediatric division of Holmes Regional Hospital(now called Health First ) caring for children and babies. The summer before college, I spent as a nanny for a family working from 9 AM to 5 PM every day. I received my degree in elementary education with a minor in psychology. After college there was a hiring freeze for teachers 1991, so I decided to work as a flight attendant . I worked for Delta Airlines for 10 years until the birth of my first daughter. I was a stay at home mom and loved every minute of it. I consider myself fun and active, I enjoy Read more taking the kids to the beach, the park, doing arts and crafts etc.. I am also happy to help with homework or tutoring both of my daughters have attended a private school for the last 13 years and have above a 4.0 grade point average. My goal is to give you assurance that your child will be safe, happy and well taken care of in my care. I own my own vehicle, and I am a safe driver. I am able to watch your child/ children in my home or yours whichever you prefer. I live in a safe neighborhood with my two teenage daughters and a very friendly, small Bichon Frise, who is a hypoallergenic non-shedding dog. Both my daughters have their own vehicles and enjoy babysitting too. My oldest daughter will be leaving for college in June.
