I started working for the Hillsborough Co. School system in 1999. I worked as a paraprofessional for a pre school teacher at Belle Witter Elementary school. I really enjoyed the students and working with them. I loved reading to them and doing various art projects. I moved to Hernando co. in 2003. I was employed as a kindergarten para for 6 years at Deltona Elementary School. I then worked with Pre- K students with physical and mental disabilities. I was then transferred to older students at Explorer K-8 school school. I really enjoyed watching them learn new things and reach their educational goals for that year, My last school was a high school. I worked with autistic and downs syndrome teenagers. That was a rewarding experience. I retired from working full time on November 25, 2014. I was state certified as a Paraprofessional by taken the state exam. I have Read more got a degree as a Certified Medical Assistant in 1994 from Concord Career Institute in Tampa, Florida. I worked at KinderCare Learning Center in Tampa for 2 years. I worked with every age group from infants to 12 years old. I have three grown children and 7 grandchildren. I enjoy children's company. I spend a lot of time with my grandchildren in Tampa.
