I am a 19 year old female who is the baby of 6 children and have 2 beautiful nephews. Care giving has been something I care deeply about whether its children or the elderly ever since I was a little girl. I have been baby sitting since I was 9 years old. My mother worked with DCF and we always took in the extra children that didn't have homes. In middle school and high school I was a teachers assistant in my ESE class. It was my favorite period of the day ! I worked with children who needed my help. Reading books, coloring (my favorite), teaching simple math, being that friend that they always wanted. I currently am a med tech ( certified) at an assisted living and I love It. I assist my residents with care giving (toileting, bathing, eating) and their medications. I am also CPR certified.
