Hi! I’m an early retiree from a career in software engineering with a lifelong passion for infant care and early childhood development. When my own children were young, I stayed home with them while also caring for other infants and toddlers. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of nurturing 12 wonderful little ones. I currently work part-time with four girls (ages 6 weeks to 3 years), all of whom I’ve cared for since infancy. With staggered schedules, I’m able to provide attentive, one-on-one care tailored to each child’s developmental stage. My approach to infant care is warm, responsive, and milestone-focused. I create a calm, engaging environment with tummy time, sensory play, music, reading, outdoor time, and language-rich interaction. As babies grow, I gently support motor skills, early communication, and confidence—always following their individual pace. I’m very experienced with newborn care, feeding transitions, and sleep routines, and I’m attentive to Read more the subtle changes that occur throughout the first year.
