Since I have been a teenager I have known that I wanted to help people. Throughout the years, I have worked in many different roles but mainly with people who were in between the ages of 18 and 85 with special needs. Some examples are people with Traumatic Brain Injury, psychiatric diagnosis, autism and other special needs. After passing background checks and a home inspection, I also became a host parent for several children through the Fresh Air Fund every summer for the past 8 years. http://www.freshair.org/ As well as, helped to raise my husbands 3 children who are now all married. I have been certified for first aid/CPR, Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) and have had extensive training for counseling, vocational rehabilitation, management and leadership.
Trust & safety
We encourage parents to conduct their own screenings using the background check tools. See what each of the badges covered, or learn more about keeping your family safe by visiting the Trust & Safety Center.
