I've been babysitting officially for about 11 years. I started much younger however taking care of my siblings while my mother worked. I have 5 sisters (1 older) and 2 younger brothers who my older sister and I took care of like our own. My mother was a single parent and she worked a lot which left me the duty of being a big sister/ mother. I began babysitting other children at the age of 13. At the age of 16 I created an after school care/ dance studio at my church where parents could drop their children off and I would teach them ballet, jazz, modern, and liturgical dance. When I went off to college in 2010 I continued to babysit. I took a break to focus more on my academics but now, since I'm graduating soon, I have resumed.
