Bonjour! My name is Kelsey Gibson, and I am currently a full-time student at the Florida State University in my fourth year studying Studio Art and French Language. I am currently 21 years old, but I will be turning 22 in September. Upon graduation, I aspire to open my own French cafe in Tallahassee as well as to write and illustrate biographical books for children about important figures in art and history. While considering what my ideal part-time job might be, I was immediately drawn to the idea of working with children. Being the oldest in my family, I always enjoyed caring for and playing with my younger siblings and have considered a profession in education for many years. Aside from the occasional babysitting job, I also have experience with volunteering in pre-school classrooms during my lower-level schooling. I am certified by The American Red Cross in safety and lifesaving Read more techniques. I have always gotten along very well with young children and animals. I feel comfortable being firm enough to discipline children respectively if needed, without coming off as harsh or uncaring. I enjoy playing board games, playing outside, reading with children, making arts and crafts, tutoring, and sharing my hobbies with them. I play the piano, the banjo, the ukulele, and I also own a tambourine. I have a reliable mode of transportation and I am available after 2:40pm every Tuesday and Thursday as well as full availability on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday if need be. A bien tot!
