Hi! I'm Lucy Steigenga, a 19-year-old college student and an absolute lover of children! The greatest bundles of joy, I spend my summers as a sleep-away camp counselor and my off breaks from school as a full-time nanny. I love making connections with kids of any age, and my outgoing, creative personality aids me in learning more about life than I can imagine through their individual personalities. I have been working with children for 5+ years, from babysitting in the neighborhood at 13 to being a travel nanny and working in schools for disabilities. I am passionate about art and creativity and am currently getting my degree in History and attending the FSU College of Education. I was raised in Jupiter Florida, and absolutely love being outdoors! I have experience with newborns to teenagers, and I I am a compassionate, go-with-the-flow, loving person, I spend my free time doing art and creative writing, as well as volunteering at a local barn that gives horse lessons to kids. I couldn't imagine my life without children, and believe that they have the ability to impact me for the better, being surrounded by their imagination.
