Hi! I'm Hope. =] Like many of my fellow babysitters and nannies on this site, I love working with children and would like a job where I can be of use. While I do not have any paid experience, I have several years of voluntary service. I believe I connect with children while still maintaining a professional older-sister attitude. I also have a passion for education and art, and have no problem helping kids with homework or encouraging their creativity. Kids could have fun with me making a kid-friendly recipe in the kitchen or reading a great story before bed. I am also comfortable with babies. At the heart of it, I believe caring for people is my calling. I look forward to the privilege of working with your family. ^ __ ^ Education: I am a senior in college, earning a Bachelor's in Secondary English Education. Through these college Read more classes I have taught in both middle and high school and learned about child development across all ages. Past Working Experiences: - Freelance English Tutor (worked with ESOL student transitioning to middle school) - Professional Tutor (one year at college academic enrichment center for athletes) - Fill-in Sitter for family and friends (includes one-year-old) - Freelance Violinist Volunteer Work: - Vacation Bible School (multiple years in nursery and preschool, one year as adult helper in a station working with pre-k, kindergarten, and all elementary grades) - Nathaniel's Hope Buddy Break (5 years non-academic caring for/playing with children with special needs of all ages)
