Hi! I have a variety of experiences working with young people ages 3 and up. The majority of it is through theatre education, so I'm used to making sure young people feel safe and secure so that they are able to express themselves and have fun! I have taught creative drama classes, which include crafts, songs, dance, and storytelling, and well as working on skills based classes and working as an acting coach. If your young person is creatively inclined, you can bet I'll be playing with them in any of those fields. But I also completely understand that different people have different preferences,so I will make and effort to discover and engage in whatever your young person is passionate about! After a few years working as a horse camp/ cabin counselor at Camp Lake Lucerne where I was responsible for the day to day care of young people ages Read more 8-18, I accepted an education internship at Eau Claire Children's Theatre in Eau Claire WI. There, I created at taught lessons in various aspects of theatre with youth ages 4-18. Last year, I worked as a yearlong Resident Professional Education Intern at the Lexington Children's Theatre where I taught and supervised young people ages 3-18 in summer classes (9am-4pm) as well as after school programming. I'm currently teaching at the Patel Conservatory here in Tampa, once again working with ages 3 and up.
