Hi Parents! I'm Kyra, and I just recently moved to Tampa from Port St. Lucie back in December of 2023. I have always been described as a natural caregiver and have cared for children as young as two months to as old as 15. As the designated babysitter for the family I have often also filled the role as party host for events with varying amounts of young guests! A little more about me: I'm the third girl out of 4 kids with a younger brother and two older sisters. I was raised by a mother who was a professional caregiver for people with disabilities and she taught me how to genuinely care for people. I am very comfortable around pets as we had birds, cats, and dogs all though my childhood. I graduated High School in 2021 with Honors and was involved in, or head of several clubs and Read more groups. Interests: Acting and Theatre for about 10 years at local theaters and then in college. I also love to read and am always looking to learn more arts and crafts. I am a former trombone player so I enjoy all types of music. Availability: Although I currently work at a brunch restaurant some mornings, I have availability Mondays and Tuesdays all day, and Saturday and Sunday afternoons. My Goals: My goal will be to keep your child safe and happy. I will also strive to maintain and respect any rules and guidelines already put in place in your household. I would also like to enjoy your child(s) interests with them whether it be sports, music, or video games. Certifications: I have been certified in AED/CPR and Basic Life Saving skills for many years and am able to perform said skills on all ages. I have a valid drivers license , a clean record and drive a 2023 vehicle with several safety features. I am also a proficient swimmer.
