I am a high school senior that will be graduating in June. This year I was part of my schools student government association, in which I was a part of organizing and executing events, such as pep rallies, homecoming dance and helping at Crestwood Elementary's field day activities for their students. I have previous to that volunteered at Crestwood and assisted my former third grade teacher with tasks around the classroom, as well as, tutored kids of ages 7-10 in English and math at a multicultural center my freshman year. The past summer I spent it taking care of my siblings of ages 11 and 13 as my mother was in the hospital due to health issues. I have spent the majority of my time in schools/ educational facilities because as I start a new chapter in my life (college) I'll be studying English Education to some day become a Read more teacher.
