I am the oldest of three children, and growing up I was responsible for helping to take care of my younger siblings. As a teenager, I worked as a babysitter for a woman in my neighborhood on the nights she went out. As a young adult, I have worked as an assistant teacher at a Discovery Point daycare in my area in the infant room, the toddler room, as well as the preschool age room and the 1st grade room. I also took care of a friend's 6 month old baby for 5 days staying in her apartment while her parents were away so that she could go to work at night. This included diaper changes, bathing, and feeding. I was a babysitter part time for a 2 year old boy, sometimes for 6 to 7 hours a day when both his parents had to work, this included preparing food, Read more playtime, and naptime.
