Working for the YMCA has immersed me in working with children of all ages from 12-month-olds to teenager. As I have done everything from summer camps to coaching competitive gymnastics. I have gained the experience of being able to alter my approach to each child to best suit their needs so that we both can succeed. I have learned how to create a safe yet fun learning environment so that my children may have a good day at camp and be able to achieve their gymnastic goals whether that be recreational gymnastics or competitive. I also was a private tutor for a year, I helped my student achieve grade level, as English was not her first language. I believe my experience at the YMCA and being a tutor has given me the skills to work together with children so that we may both achieve.
