Helping children grow into their skin and explore their personality is one of the greatest rewards I’ve found throughout my nannying career. At the starting age of thirteen, I was given the opportunity to babysit coworkers of my parents children, then to my very young cousins, the YMCA, and now my niece. As I watch the kids grow into the preteen/little kid stage of life, I’ve seen the importance of having a good role model and a positive influence for their learning and engaging minds. Patience, time management, problem solving and the ability to communicate effectively with the family is a skill that not many have strengthened yet. However are skills I pride myself on achieving. Not only will it determine how well the kids will act and react too ok certain situations, it will also show great work ethic and maturity that employer looks for when hiring. Not to Read more mention the ability to be caring, kind, firm but also patient is how I’ve learned to have a better and relaxed relationship with the kids I work with. Overall, nannying kids from infants to any age has made me a better person and brings enjoyment to my personal and professional life.
