Hi, I'm Teresa, I have raised 3 beautiful children of my own, 2 sons that were 20 months apart, and a daughter. I have spent the past 8 years providing care for an adult bedbound home care recipient. Below is over 30 years of experience in providing care. *I began babysitting after-school & weekends at 13 years old and this blossomed into providing care for several families throughout high school *At 21, I started my family. I stayed home as a homemaker and raised my 3 children. * I volunteered as my sons Cub Scout Pack Leader for 6 years. The pack had 6 dens and over 40 elementary school age children. * For The 8 years I provided 24/7 care for a bedbound friend. As a mother myself, I know that there is nothing in this world more important to you than your child(ren). I vow to provide the same care, kindness, protection, and vigilance that I provided for my own children. I am an active grandmotherly type caregiver. I am comfortable and confident providing care for every age level, and group size, from new born to preteens. I have no issues making a healthy meal, overseeing homework & following routines. I know family pets are part of the family and I don't mind feeding them or letting them out. I enjoy implementing age appropriate activities that use imagination or provide educational opportunities. Be it art, playing pretend with toys, to making cookies, reading a book. Children learn more, and behave better in groups, when they are having fun.
