I am currently in graduate school to become a Clinical Mental Health Counselor for children and adolescents. My dad is one of 12 siblings, so I grew up with over 100 cousins to babysit along with my younger brother, and I have years of professional experience from working at a daycare throughout my undergraduate degree, lifeguarding in the summers, a summer as an RBT for children with Autism, a semester-long internship at a child advocacy center, 6 months as a family support worker, and tutoring children K-2nd on reading. I was AED, CPR, and first aid certified from many of my jobs. I love being a sitter because children challenge you and teach you in the best way possible. You have to change your perspective and learn to manage your own self to best work with children and support/manage them.
Trust & safety
We encourage parents to conduct their own screenings using the background check tools. See what each of the badges covered, or learn more about keeping your family safe by visiting the Trust & Safety Center.
