Hello there! I am a 33-year-old looking for work outside my previous jobs bartending. I have worked with children as a tutor since high school, volunteered with organizations mentoring young kids while in college, and babysat neighbourhood kids since I was 16. I am a patient person who loves to teach and mentor, with experience as a teacher and teaching assistant in early adulthood. I like working with kids, particularly seeing them learn how to navigate the world around us and master new skills. I would say I'm a nurturing and caring person, and can be strong enough to say "no" when setting and upholding rules. I have experience and knowledge working with children with neurodivergencies, especially autism and ADHD. I am adept in First Aid, can cook meals or prepare snacks, and am ready to help the family. I also love pets. :)!

Chelsea was great with my son and daughter, followed the directions and rules that i had left and enforced them fairly. It’s usually hard to sneak out the door without upsetting my son and Chelsea was able to keep him happy and comfortable so i left guilt and worry free!
