Starting at a young age I’ve always had a passion and drive for working and taking care of kids. As a Girl Scout for the past 10 years, I’ve had the best opportunities of working with youth whether it’s being a camp counselor Multiple years in a row at summer camps, a VBS youth coordinator for the preschoolers, or even helping my mom out at church in the nursery, it is without a doubt where my interest’s fall. I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to babysit for an amazing family (11 month old, 3 yr old, and 5 yr old) for the past three years. They are moving however and I’m looking for another family to help out! I also have experience with newborns (changing diapers, feeding, bathing, etc). Through Girl Scouts, I have been CPR and first aid certified (required to earn my babysitter badge). I love taking the kids Read more on day trips (I drive a reliable mid sized SUV), field trips (the park is a favorite) and getting out of the house and learning and seeing new things. Of course I love a day inside as well! I love crafting and creating an educational space. Anything from reading, to playing pretend, and using our imaginations to transform any ordinary play space into a fun new adventure. I’d love to find a nice family in need these next couple months of summer before heading off to college to pursue my degree and become a future labor and delivery/NICU nurse.
