I absolutely love babies. Experiencing such a miracle of life is beyond words. I can't imagine going through life never having children. Having had 4 children, I've experienced it all. All of my children were born premature, two had to have breathing treatments to open up their lungs for the first two years of their life. My youngest had RDS (Respiratory Distress Syndrom) a week after he was born and was in the hospital for a week. I have 3 boys and 1 girl. My boys are very active and all 3 have had stitches. My youngest wasn't looking where he was going and walked into a hand rail at the zoo and it cut him right under his eye. My oldest boy was racing the other to see who could get to the door first and he tripped on the sidewalk and cut his chin, and my middle son Read more had an accident on the playground at school and had to have stitches above his eyebrow. They all have different personalities and different types of discipline are required for each because of it. I believe in lots of outdoor activities, walks, playground trips, ball, etc, and I loved reading to my children when they were little and singing to them. I am not big on sitting a child in front of the tv to keep them occupied. They need to have positive engagement and play and to be held and squeezed and loved. For years now I have been working in the corporate world and I miss those tender years when my babies were little. I am also tired of the florescent lighting and office politics. So, I've decided to change to something much less stressful, something that I love.....taking care of little ones. I will treat your babies with tenderness and care and love them as if they were my own. I have a very safe car (Volvo S6 Sedan). I would prefer to have the option of watching the children at your home or mine. My fee is $15/hr and includes meal preparation and picking up after the children. I would love to meet for coffee to get to know you and answer any questions you may have.
