Good day! First a little about me. I'm married, live in Venice FL area. We moved down here from Minnesota in March of 2020, right as Covid-19 shutdowns started! I have 2 grown children and 3 Grandkids. I started babysitting when I was 11 for many different families in the area. I was busy every Friday and Saturday and often during the week also until I was 15 and got a regular job. When my kids were young we generally had lots of other children over at any given time! I was fortunate enough to be able to stay home with my children when they were young. I also took care of my grandma after my grandpa passed away and enjoyed all the time we got to spend together! When my grandma passed away is when it really hit me that my calling is to be a caregiver. I love Read more people and I love helping people as much as I can. So I do tend to get attached a bit, not scary crazy, just caring! I don't want to do the daycare setting because I like to work with one family at a time. I would like to be able to bring them places sometimes so they can experience different things. I would like to bring them to our home sometimes too (I have 2 small dogs that LOVE kids too!) and just include them with our family activities. I have many interests and stay fairly active. My style of babysitting would be most like the "loving grandma" style I would say. I'm not real strict but I do guide them and keep them responsible. I am comfortable with any age. I am also willing to bring them to any appointments, classes or errands they may need to do also. I am flexible with my hours, and not real sure what to put for availability so feel free to contact me and we can maybe work something out. I am willing to keep children at my home overnight.
