Hello! I'm a full time Early Intervention Specialist. I work directly with infants and toddlers with visual impairments each day. I have spent years working as a nanny, have a degree in visual disabilities education (a subset of the education field that is in line with exceptional education). Since 2011 I have worked as a nanny for infants and toddlers, worked in resource rooms for children with varying exeptionalities, taught for children and teenage programs that focus on independent living skills, and am currently loving my work with infants and toddlers (as well as their families!). My work has given me experience with children who have unique situations. My approach to working with children is to meet them wherever they are developmentally and play games, do crafts, read, write, and do what I can to make my time with them more meaningful.
