Hello! My name is Liz. I am personable, determined, and hard-working! I graduated from Emory University in 2020 and have stayed in the area since. I have many years of experience working with children, and I absolutely love doing so! In my most recent position, I have been able to work as both a house manager and nanny! I am CPR certified, own my own car, and have a clean driving record. I have open availability, and am ready to start immediately. I have had the pleasure of spending multiple summers working at sleepaway camps as an overnight counselor. I also worked as an in-house caretaker/school assistant during the pandemic, as well as a tutor in Atlanta elementary and middle schools throughout college. Last summer, I helped direct Piedmont Park's non-profit, educational summer camps as a supervisor. I have spent the last nine months as the nanny of three wonderful Read more children aged 5 to 10 years old in Decatur. Due to a change in my employer's childcare needs, I am now looking for another great fit! As a nanny, I strongly value instilling mutual respect, fair conflict resolution, and encouraging children to build high self esteem. Nannying is not just a job to me, it's an important part of my life! In my most recent role, my responsibilities with the children included school drop off, school pick up, packing lunches, tutoring, crafts, supervising swim, educational enrichment, transportation to activities, transportation to doctors apportionments and, of course, lots of playing. In addition to these tasks, I also worked in household management including doing laundry, putting away laundry, taking care of dogs, making meals, cooking baked goods, doing returns, buying groceries, picking up mail, taking vehicles for maintenance, and picking up prescriptions. I love to be helpful and take pride in not only doing what I'm asked, but doing it well. Working with families is something that I have really enjoyed being able to do and I am so excited to see where my next role leads me! I look forward to hearing from you.
