Hello Families! My name is Taylor, I am 29 years old and I service the BRANDON MILL WOODS and LOST FOREST Neighborhoods. I love working with children but I also work with teens and adults that may need a little extra attention medically. I grew up being a camper at a summer camp for children with disabilities and then I became a camp counselor myself for many years. I was born with Sickle Cell Anemia an inherited blood disorder. During my time as a counselor, I was in charge of a cabin full of kids on a week long overnight camp. I enjoyed every second of it and it made me love caring for children or adults who just need a little more attention than a normal ‘Sitter Big Sister’. I have also done in home childcare for children ranging from the ages of 6mos-15 years old. My services frequently Read more included watching an 8 year old boy overnight as his single mother traveled for work for 2-3 days at a time. During this time I was responsible for getting him ready for school in the morning, making breakfast, packing a healthy lunch and serving dinner in the evenings. After dinner and before bedtime he’d have his bath and I made sure to lay out the clothes that he’d wear to school the next day. I drove him to and from school as well.
