Hello! I am interested in a nanny position beginning in September/October. I am a 25 year-old with 10+ years experience in childcare, including babysitting, working as a kindergarten assistant, working at a children's museum, working as a camp councelor, and most recently as a nanny. Beginning in 8th grade, I baby sat for all of my neighbors and parent 's friends. I babysat throughout high school for family with children of all ages from infant-13. I have always known that my passion was working with kids. As a senior in high school, I was able to do a co-op in a kindergarten classroom for half of the year. I loved working in a school setting. I really enjoy helping children learn and love to witness their progress as students. In later years, when I came home from college for holidays and summers, I worked at the Science Center in Baltimore, Read more a hands-on museum for kids. I worked in the Kid's Room, which is an interactive exist for children infant-8 years old. We monitored their playtime and ran story times, art projects, and other activities. It was at this museum that I also worked as a summer camp counselor. My most recent childcare experience has been as a nanny. When I first moved to Atlanta, I worked with a family with 3 children, 2 in elementary school and 1 in middle school. My most recent job was with a family with 3 girls who were 3,5,6 at the beginning of my employment. As a nanny, I was mainly responsible for childcare (playing, homework help, dressing, waking up for school, driving to activities, scheduling play dates and other activities, and general well-being). I was also responsible for light house keeping (dishes, laundry, running errands, grocery shopping, and cooking). Childcare is not just a means to an end for me. I love being a nanny. I love children and really enjoy my time with them. I love to be outside playing and discovery parks, zoos, museums, and other places with them. I am responsible and punctual and love to have fun. I have a car with room for 3 car seats and a clean driving record.
