I grew up on a block with many kids younger than me so I was always the go-to babysitter for those families. I also was a camper at a YMCA camp in Virginia for 8 years and have now been working there for the past 5. For my first 4 years working, I was a Senior Counselor and I have spent this past summer working as the Girls Camper Services Director and have enjoyed it so much. Dancing around to Frozen songs, making friendship bracelets, and helping 8-16 year old girls and boys reach goals they didn't think they could reach was my everyday this summer and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
