I am 24 years old and recently moved to Atlanta to get one step closer to achieving my career goal of being a Registered Dietitian, specifically working in pediatrics. Currently, I am enrolled in a supervised dietetic internship in which I basically work full time with no income until May 2015. So, I thought what better way to make some money by doing what I love the most! I have a lot of personal and work experience caring for children. For about 4 years, I worked as a lifeguard and camp counselor for gymnastics and sports camp at the YMCA with campers ranging from ages 6-14. Currently, I am not CPR/First Aid certified, however, I have done the trainings numerous times. In addition to my work experiences, I come from a rather large family with tons of cousins and friends running around all the time. Growing up in such a Read more strong family environment has made caring for children a natural thing for me. I have three nieces and a nephew that I proudly claim as my own sometimes (Tyler just turned 7, Zoe is 6, Ava is 5 and little Sophia just turned 2, sorry I had to mention them!). Countless times I have cared for them whether it involves taking them to practice/dance class or games, making sure they’re fed, or need a nap, etc. I don’t want to brag but I am the “cool aunt”  mainly because I like to have fun and I understand kids. I am a soccer mom at heart. Aside from all the fun, I am fully aware of the responsibilities involved in child care and I am exceptionally skilled in handling them. I truly care for the well-being of kids and I know that good behavior goes hand in hand with that. I am a trustworthy, caring, positive and dependable child care provider and I can honestly say that every kid leaves a lasting impression on my heart.
