Patience, laughter and fun! I enjoy being with children and helping them grow in independence. I have over 15 years experience in child care. As a teacher and a director in a preschool childcare setting I had experience with children infants through Pre-K. My daughter is a sophomore in college. When my daughter was growing up I spent a lot of time in her elementary school classroom volunteering and helping the teachers. When I care for children we have fun playing, doing crafts reading, singing or going outside. I give calm, consistent boundaries so there is no yelling! Providing these safe, secure guidelines help the children feel safe to have fun and grow. After so many years enjoying caring for me teaching children I decided to make a change for my full time employment. I now work full time with seniors who have dementia.
