Hi, my name is Jade Watson, I’m an 18 year old who will be an enrolled freshman at Howard University in DC this upcoming school year & absolutely adore children. I'm certified in CPR & First Aid/AED. I have 7 years of experience caring for infants, toddlers, and children ranging between the ages of 5 to 12. In regards to children, I would describe myself as one who knows the duties, responsibilities, and energy it takes to care for children. When I was younger, my first job was babysitting my family members, parent’s close friends children, & neighbors, whether it was for a couple of hours, days, or the week. While at the employer’s home, my caring skills included, feeding, cleaning (both the home & child if in need of assistance), helping, and engaging/entertaining the children. After I graduated highschool, I started working at Lifetime Fitness as a Camp Counselor, Read more where we are assigned up to 10 children each. This job can be quite challenging due to the fact you’re not only taking care, but dedicating all your time and focus towards a mixed age group of children at once.
