I have been working with children since I was 14 and can honestly say that childcare is something I love and feel called to do. I come from a large family and have always been surrounded by kids. Being an active aunt has given me a deep appreciation for the joy, curiosity, and creativity children bring into everyday life. I have worked as a full-time nanny, tutor, childcare site supervisor, and mentor, caring for children from infancy through middle school. Over the years, I have learned that connection and consistency are key because children thrive when they feel seen, heard, and supported. My experience includes working in both private homes and state licensed childcare facilities. I have provided full-time in-home care, supervised before and after school programs, and tutored children in reading and math. In every setting, my focus has been to create a safe, structured, and engaging environment where kids can grow socially, emotionally, and academically. I am CPR and First Aid certified and I am also a certified children’s yoga instructor. I love incorporating mindfulness, yoga, and movement into daily routines to help children develop focus and self-regulation in a fun and age-appropriate way. I am active and fit, so outdoor play, walks, and park trips are a big part of my days with kids. Whether we are doing a nature scavenger hunt, practicing gentle yoga poses, reading together, or baking something new, I love making learning part of playtime. I am also very comfortable with transportation and family logistics, including preschool drop offs and after school pick ups, as well as driving to sports, lessons, or local adventures. I have a clean driving record and take safety very seriously. As a pet owner myself, I am comfortable with animals and happy to help care for family pets as part of the daily routine. Families describe me as dependable, calm, and engaging. I value open communication with parents and always aim to support each family’s unique rhythm and parenting style. My goal is to make your children feel loved, secure, and inspired while giving parents peace of mind knowing their children are in caring hands.
