I've been babysitting for family friends since I was a pre-teen. I started off taking care of children while the parents were usually out for the night. When I went to college, I worked part-time as an after school nanny for three years. Two of those years was for four boys! I picked them up from school, helped with homework, prepared snacks, and did various household tasks. My favorite part about being a nanny was having fun with the kids once all the homework was done. With the boys, this involved playing sports in the backyard. When I nannied for two girls, this entailed arts and crafts.
