Hello, I am a passionate person with a strong work ethic. While caring for children is not my "day job", I have lots of experience with little ones. Some of my experiences include: co-managing a summer literacy program for over 100 children ages 4-14, working as 4-H camp counselor teaching/facilitating various adventures for children such as canoeing, overnight camping, and rock climbing, volunteering with a community program for young girls that focuses on self-esteem building, healthy peer relationships, and academic excellence, and serving as teacher for Vacation Bible School at my church. I have also completed multiple trainings on learning styles, positive discipline techniques and safety. My interests include reading, engaging with the community, exploring new cultures, and spending time with family. I truly enjoy being with children and offering my talents to help them grow.
