Hello! Thanks for taking the time to read through. Some things that I value most and try to uphold in myself are direct and compassionate communication, patience, curiosity, kindness, and honesty. I believe in the saying "it takes a village" when it comes to raising thoughtful, intelligent, and autonomous children. Everyone your child meets has a part (big or small) to play in the roles of teaching and nurturing them, encouraging or discouraging them, creating a safe or unsafe environment for them, and I take that responsibility to heart; I believe we are all responsible for the children in our lives, and whether it is the children I have worked for in the past or a friends kid come to hang out for the night, I believe in being as present, loving, and considerate as I can possibly be. Truth be told I love being a sitter because i honestly Read more love hanging out with kids. Some things are simple (: I currently have another part time job that fills my evenings from 2-6, so I am only available from early in the morning until 1:30 at the latest (depending on where your family lives). I am open to occasional weekend help as well. I think the best way to really feel each other out and get an idea if we would be compatible is to talk the old fashioned way so I am available to talk over the phone or, should your schedule permit, a quick meeting in person to get the ball rolling. I will always respect your time and ask you do the same for me, mutual courtesy is a must! I have worked at a Montessori preschool, and been a part of two families, one as a sitter and the other as a nanny.
