I'm a 50 year old mom of four (16, 19, 20 and 25) and was blessed with my first grandchild 11/21/2017. I've always loved nurturing babies and small children. Their innocence and youth is a great recipe for humor. Some of the funniest things I've ever heard came from kids! At the same time, if you really listen to them many times you can learn a lot from them. When we were raising our children we never left them with anyone but my mom. Luckily, we never had to. I realize everyone isn't that fortunate so I like to provide the level of care that our children were fortunate enough to get when my husband and I would go out or travel. When watching children I like to bring age appreciate games or activities (coloring, puzzles, craft kits) I was the nanny for a family in my neighborhood for their Read more daughter's first year. Now she's flourishing in preschool and her parents gave me a wonderful letter of recommendation. Being a mom, grandma and former nanny I have 25 + years of experience with newborns, toddlers, tweens and teens. I also pet sit for some of my neighbors if this is a service you're in need of. I volunteer with some local rescues and I help my neighbor, who fosters rescue dogs, by letting them out to go potty when she's not home. I love caring for and being an advocate for those who have no voice whether human or animal ❤️
