Hello! My Name is Ebone'. I recently graduated with dual degrees in Spanish and Liberal Studies at Armstrong ( with a minor in theater). I am responsible, very patient with children, easy going, and I have a bit of a creative streak. I am someone you can trust to care for your children. I have very strong communication skills (I am also able to speak, read, and write Spanish). Interpersonal communication is a strong suit for me. I especially love communicating with children because their developing minds and speech patterns are fascinating --and quite entertaining. Listening to children is the core of communicating with them. Before caring for children (for the first time), I clearly inform parents of my boundaries and I ask parents about the boundaries they set for their children. I create a structured, relaxed, and fun environment. I create structure to insure your child's safety and comfort. Read more I want and need children to clearly understand my boundaries as well, so I communicate my rules to them. I want and need parents to feel at ease when they leave children in my care. I also inquire about the health and personality characteristics of children. I plan activities because I think every person big or small should enjoy themselves. I also inform parents of the activities I plan to insure I have not crossed the boundaries they set for their children. I believe that children should be mentally and creatively stimulated. I understand that every child is unique, and I try to cater to their individuality and unique needs. I give my full attention to them. I learn about who they are, and in turn children learn about me. I am the same with children who have unique needs. No child's needs are too great. I have eleven years of experience caring for children. I am 24 years-old and I have watched children of all ages. The most children I have ever cared for at a single time with no help-- 5 children. However, depending on ages and individual needs that number could decrease or possibly increase. * I prefer not to take children swimming * I DO NOT have a vehicle * I am NOT currently CPR certified
