I graduated from Valencia Community College with honors in 1982. I worked designing test equipment, rockets, conveyors etc. I left engineering when I was expecting our second child. During that time I taught K4 and Art, then homeschooled, ran a middle school service club, volunteered at church with various children's programs. I did some freelance drafting and bookkeeping during the 7+ years spent caring for my terminally ill husband. We moved from our Florida home to Georgia in 2003 and I worked for the Houston County Library System for eight years, was a paid nursery worker for four years, taught middle and high school math for two years at Westside Christian Academy and currently tutor various math disciplines paid and pro bono. I am the proud mom of three amazing adult children and the devoted nana of three bright and busy grands, age 2, 3 and 7. I volunteer in Read more our Children's Church, love sewing , Algebra and reading bedtime stories to my grandson Tristan.
