Hi, I’m Katie! I’m passionate about working with children and supporting their growth both academically and emotionally. I’m currently finishing my bachelor’s degree in psychology at Chattahoochee College, with plans to pursue a counseling degree. My experience includes: - Tutoring children ages 10–17, helping them succeed in their studies and build confidence - Volunteering with children’s programs, creating a safe, fun, and inclusive environment through play and creative activities - Working in daycare settings with children of all ages, including those with special needs - Growing up in a family of nine, so I’m no stranger to organized chaos I’ve also worked for a care company providing medical assistance to the elderly, which helped me develop patience, empathy, and strong attention to detail. My work history includes seven years as a server, two years as a chiropractic assistant and receptionist, and a year as a front desk receptionist at a Read more resort. I left my most recent position to care for my elderly father before he moved to assisted living. Now, I’m looking to support busy families and bring my skills and compassion to childcare. A few more things about me: - Completed an Introduction to Childcare course at Chattahoochee College - Currently pursuing CPR/First Aid certification - Skilled at cooking healthy meals, keeping spaces clean and organized, and happy to help with homework and light housekeeping - Comfortable with pets - Have my own reliable transportation I always work hard, believe in the work I do, and bring a positive attitude wherever I go.
