The first thing that makes me a great caregiver is that I'm a mother myself! I'm a mother of multiple sets of twins (now teenagers) and so am used to caring for multiple young children at once. Experience is the best teacher! Outside of my personal life, I enjoy working with children, having led classes for summer camps and co-ops, and currently volunteering with multiple school and youth-centered organizations in my community. I home schooled my own children for three years, and now am a passionate supporter of equitable education for all children.
