I'm a mom to one child who is now 17, leaving me with lots of free time to fill! My experience in childcare includes running a daycare from my home for over 8 years, working with infants through 10 years. Currently, I substitute teach at commercial daycare centers. I also have experience as a recreational gymnastics for kids 12 months through elementary age. I coached Special Olympics for 2 years and also worked with special needs kids at my in-home daycare. Other relevant experience includes working for the Safe Kids Coalition as well as Children's Healthcare of Atlanta in the field of unintentional childhood injury prevention (water safety, bike safety, safe sleep/sids prevention, fire safety.) I was a child passenger safety tech (certified car seat specialist) and specialized in special needs transportation. I like keeping kids active and also enjoy arts and crafts as well as reading and games. I Read more am comfortable with pets and am happy to do light housekeeping and meal prep. I went to school for EMT however my certification has since expired. I am current in CPR/first aid.
