Meet Allison

I have been working with people professionally for 5 years now. I started by working with short and long term residents of a nursing home in Indiana. I moved on to working with children as a substitute (grades 1st through 12 grade). As a sub I worked as a Classified sub (assistant to the teacher in the classroom) and a Certified sub (head teacher in charge of the classroom). I have worked in two camps with children of the ages 5-13. I am currently employed by the YMCA as a Site Director and Camp Counselor (since October 2015). I love working with people of all ages because of my wonderful personality. I have great charisma, I am creative, outgoing, very understanding, loving, caring, and positively fun to be around all the time. I have a child of my own that is 6. When I was 16 I worked with infants Read more to toddlers so a long with my child I have great experience in caring, providing, and protecting all children of ALL sizes. In addition I am great at creating fun activities fit for any child. Because of my experience in education (as well as being educated) I am excellent in helping with homework and projects. Because I am experienced with a camp life setting I am also great at creating games, group activities, crafts, and the utilization of a child's imagination.
