Hey families! My name is Ellie and I love working with children because I have always had a natural connection with their energy, curiosity, and unique perspectives. It brings me joy and fulfillment as I am an English teacher during the school year, so I have experience watching almost 30 kids at a time and am prepared to be quick on my feet to handle any situation. Working with children requires patience, understanding, and the ability to see things from their perspective, which I find it rewarding to meet these challenges and help children navigate their world. I've also learned that working with children is a continuous learning experience as each child is unique, and I enjoy discovering new ways to connect with and support them. I am about to start my second year teaching, but I want to help over the summer as well as when I can on Read more weekends or nights.
