When looking for the perfect applicant, there are many things that a parent will want to check off their list. I would love to check all these boxes through my dedication, hard work, and patience. As a college student, I would love to get more hands-on experience with children of all ages and personalities in order to develop the skills needed for my future profession. I currently attend West Georgia University as a graduate student with a degree-seeking major in Speech and Language Pathology. I would love to learn how to interact with young ones and create a strong bond. Something that makes me stand out as an applicant is my experience as an intern in an SLP clinic for one year. Through this internship, I was able to play with children ages 8 months to 12 years of age, as well as create lesson plans and therapy for the Read more children. This experience helped me to overcome and adapt to any situation and ultimately created a love for helping young ones and the major I am currently in today! Additionally, I have a dependable vehicle (2018 Ford Edge) and I am willing to drive children OR run any errands for the parents/guardians. I, personally, have 3 dogs of my own and love caring for animals within the household. I also enjoy cleaning and tidying around the house, so I do not mind light housecleaning during babysitting hours.
