My name is Jenessa. I am a 28-year-old, single woman, and I recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Human Services at Clayton State University. I am also in the U. S. Army Reserve and have been serving for the past 7 years. I have always had a passion for pouring into the lives of children and youth, as well as women, and I consider it an honor and very fulfilling to be a positive impact on their lives and their future. I have worked in the Children's Ministry of my church for a year, and I have also worked as a math tutor for high school students in the past. As a senior in my Psychology and Human Services degree program, I worked as an intern at Rainbow House, in Jonesboro GA and was able to research and develop a program for child-parent interaction exercises, in order to Read more help redevelop relationships between parents and children who had undergone adverse, and otherwise, traumatizing, situations. Some things that describe who I am are that, as previously mentioned, I've always had a passion for children. I know that children are a gift from God and should always be treated as such. I love interacting with children because they are so full of love, and so full of joy, and their inquisitive questions and comments keep you on your toes, and often bring about a burst of laughter. I think being able to make a great impression that lasts in a child's life is a noble goal that everyone should be able to check off their bucket list, at last once in their lives. I love to teach children new things, reading to them, helping them with their homework, cooking and making sure their tummies are full, playing games with them, and even rocking them to sleep. I have been babysitting children since the age of 8 years old, when I became an aunt for the first time. I have an ample amount of experience and I thoroughly enjoy making bottles and checking the formula for the correct temperature, feeding and burping infants, putting children down for their naps, changing diapers, soothing a crying baby/child, taking and picking up children from school, taking children to doctor's appointments, cleaning, cooking, doing laundry, etc. I have even taught 3 of my nieces and nephews how to ride a bike. I am a well- rounded person, and I would love to help lighten your load by being a great caregiver to your children.
