Hi, my name is Mary and I'm 25 years old. I'm from Atlanta and currently live in Wellington, Florida. I come from a family of 9 children. 4 of my siblings are adopted and have special needs. I grew up babysitting for friends and family members since I was 14 years old and I have experience working with special needs children. I did a 3 month internship at The Gem Foundation in Kampala, Uganda(a home for children with minor-severe special needs) in 2015. That same year, I went on another trip to Ukraine to work in medical clinics and visit children in orphanages for a couple weeks. Over the past two and a half years I have worked as a medical assistant in an office for internal medicine/primary care. I am also CPR and first aid certified. Prior to and during my time working as an MA, I was a Read more nanny for a few families at different times over the past few years. 2018-2020 I cared for a family of 3 children ages 6(girl), 8(boy), and 12(boy), then a family of with 2 boys ages 4 and 8 for the 2021/22 school year. My duties included house chores, picking up the kids from school, helping with homework, driving them to extracurricular activities, packing school lunches for the next day, and occasionally making them dinner. I also worked full days for the family with 3 children during the summer and took the children to various summer activities, such as the pool, summer camps, six flags, the zoo, etc. Since moving to Wellington, I currently work as a server during breakfast/brunch. I'm looking for a job as an occasional school/evening nanny, but I'm available for weekend/date night babysitting jobs as well!
