My name is Alexcia. I have been working with kids since I was 16 years old. my first job was at a sports camp in Stone Mountain Georgia. I enjoyed this job so much because I was able to teach kids my skills in basketball and softball as well as develop healthy relationships with kids so they could feel comfortable away from home. I enjoyed this job so much that i became a counselor at the YMCA. my responsibilities at the YMCA include such activities as hiking, canoeing, archery, horseback riding, and many more. I have always had a passion for taking care of children. I am the oldest of four and i have three brothers that I helped take care of like they were my own. My career plans after I graduate college are to become a nurse in the NICU at the Childrens Hospital of Atlanta.
