Although I haven't had a permanent babysitting job, I have had experience in child care. In high school, I volunteered at a week-long summer camp at my church. At the camp, I worked with children ages 3-10 and lead activities throughout the day. Additionally, in high school I mentored a family friend for roughly 4 years. He was three years younger than I was and basically became my little brother. I frequently took him fishing, helped him with homework and studying, as well as drove him to school when we attended the same high school for a year. I really enjoyed getting to see him succeed and I like to think that I had a positive impact on his growing up.
