My name is Savanna Walker. I am twenty three years old. I am a Christian and never work Sundays. While I was in high school, I took two year length courses of early childhood education. In these classes we learned about safety for children, developmental stages, and we even taught/supervised children a couple days of the week. Me and the other students were in charge of supervising, along side the teacher, a classroom of pre-school aged children. Before being given this opportunity, I had never considered working with children. It really opened my eyes to a possible future career and now that I’m older, I really want to pursue it. When I was younger, me and my siblings would stay at our aunt’s house while our grandma babysat my baby cousins. When I was thirteen, I got the chance to babysit them by myself one evening. I supervised them playing Read more and watching TV. I fed them dinner and put them to bed. The youngest was five and the older one was seven. I also helped babysit my friend’s cousins when I was thirteen. There were three children, one was an infant, one was pre-school aged and the other was around seven to eight. We supervised them watching TV, we played outside with them, fed them dinner and put them to bed. My goal is to become a nanny, because children bring so much joy, fun and light into the world, and I want to be a part of creating a thriving learning environment for them. I am very detail oriented, organized, time efficient, hard-working and quick to adapt. Some fun hobbies that I like to do are draw, paint, hike, swim, and spend time with my dog. I don’t drink or smoke. I can provide a clean background check and driving record. I look forward to hearing from you!
